History
Soleil Resources

Soleil Resources International is a group founded by Inoussa KANAZOE, a Burkinabe industrialist recognized for his leadership and achievements in the industrial sector. Before venturing into the mining sector, Mr. KANAZOE consolidated Cim Metal Group, a major player in the West African industry, with the following assets:

  • An iron foundry located in Ouagadougou (Cimetal SA).
  • More than five functional cement plants in different countries:
    • Cimfaso and Cimasso in Burkina Faso,
    • CimIvoire in Ivory Coast,
    • Cimco in Togo,
    • CimMali in Mali.

Creation of Soleil Resources

Driven by an ambition for diversification and innovation, Mr. KANAZOE created Soleil Resources in the last quarter of 2023, with the main objective of fully investing in the mining sector. In May 2024, this vision was realized through the acquisition of the mining assets of the Turkish group Avesoro in Burkina Faso.
In 2025, Soleil Resources strengthened its strategic position in the mining sector by acquiring all shares of RoxGold Sanu SA, previously held by the Fortuna Mining group.

In parallel, Soleil Resources has obtained new exploration permits through its subsidiary Soleil Mining, thereby strengthening its strategic position in the sector.
