The Ouare Exploitation Permit, covering an area of 20.54 km², was granted to Ouare
Mining Company SA on
August 4, 2021.
The Ouare project is located in the Boulgou province, a region known for its
mining potential and varied landscapes. Its proximity to Ouagadougou, at 280 km, allows
optimal connectivity with the main transport infrastructure and the country's
administrative centers.
The mine is located 42 km northeast of the Youga mine, a geographical position that
facilitates logistical operations and ore transport. This proximity enables
efficient exploitation and optimal integration with existing infrastructure.
Access and Infrastructure
Thanks to its strategic location, the Ouare Project benefits from optimized access to key infrastructure, thus facilitating mining operations and logistics.
Road Network
The project enabled the construction of a road connecting Youga Ouare via Bittou. These improvements offer relatively easy access thanks to regional and national roads, thus facilitating the transport of ore and equipment.
Proximity to Youga
The project is located 42 km northeast of the Youga mine, which allows efficient integration with the Youga processing plant for ore treatment.
Resource Richness
The Boulgou region is recognized for its gold deposits.
