Since 2014, Roxgold Sanu, through the Yaramoko mine, has been conducting an ambitious community investment program for the Bagassi commune, the Bale province and the Boucle du Mouhoun region. More than 240 projects have been completed, including the construction and equipping of schools and health centers, the creation of market garden sites and the opening of vocational training centers for young people. In total, more than 2.4 billion FCFA has been invested in these community initiatives.
Since the operationalization of the Local Development Mining Fund in 2019, which allocates 1% of tax-free turnover to local authorities, the Bagassi commune has received more than 3 billion FCFA to finance its development projects.

In 2022, the local content program enabled Burkinabe suppliers to provide goods and services worth 88.39 billion FCFA to the mine, while creating employment opportunities for young people through qualifying training.
Today, 88.1% of employees at the Yaramoko mine are Burkinabe, half of whom come from neighboring communities. In addition, 13% of qualified positions are held by women, including 6.5% in management positions, demonstrating the company's commitment to equality and inclusion.
