of CSR
The Community Relations or Community Social Relationship (CSR) department is a
department that serves as an interface between the Youga gold mine and the local
communities impacted by this mine's activities.
As such, the Community Relations department is responsible on behalf of the
mine, for maintaining good relations with administrative authorities,
customary, religious authorities and the populations.
It also ensures the monitoring of development project implementations financed by the mine for the benefit of the populations:
- The rehabilitation of the National Road linking Zabre to Youga,
- The completion of sixteen (16) hydraulic boreholes in the Zabre commune,
- The distribution of food to vulnerable persons and Internally Displaced Persons in the Zabre commune,
- The recruitment of several young people at the Youga gold mine.
