On November 6, 2026, Soleil Resources concluded its Pink October campaign, conducted in collaboration with the Burkina Chamber of Mines. This initiative serves as a reminder that breast cancer prevention and early detection remain critical public health issues.

Because the fight against breast cancer is not limited to a single symbolic month, Soleil Resources has continued its commitment beyond October through an awareness and prevention campaign.

This initiative unfolded in two key phases. In Ouagadougou, an awareness-raising event was organized for employees to enhance their understanding of breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

In Zabré, the effort continued on the ground with a community outreach program specifically dedicated to local women. The program included awareness sessions, discussions, and free screening activities designed to encourage healthy habits and promote greater attention to women’s health.

Through this campaign, Soleil Resources reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the well-being of its employees and the surrounding communities by making prevention a long-term priority.

The company would like to thank the Burkina Chamber of Mines for this collaboration, as well as all the women of Zabré for their participation and commitment.

Prevention knows no schedule. Raising awareness, screening, and taking timely action help save lives.
